- Offers tailored trainings and resources on issues related to diversity & inclusion
- Manages the Words of Engagement Intergroup Dialogue Program (WEIDP), which offers for-credit social justice education
LGBTQ+ Equity Center
- Supports & builds community for UMD’s LGBTQ+ population
- Advocates for inclusive policies & competency across campus
- Offers social justice leadership development for students
Nyumburu Cultural Center
- UMD’s center for Black social, cultural and intellectual interaction
- Offers programs, academic courses, student groups, workshops, community gatherings, exhibits, performances and more
Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education (OMSE)
- Serves undergraduate multi-ethnic students to increase matriculation, retention, graduation & GPA; offers tutoring, peer mentoring groups, honor society and more
TerrapinSTRONG
- Offers the TerrapinSTRONG onboarding, which introduces UMD history and traditions and underscores our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Office of Civil Rights & Sexual Misconduct (OCRSM)
- Administers university policies & procedures prohibiting & addressing reports of discrimination & harassment, including sexual misconduct
