First Year Book is available

The First Year Book for 2024-25 is "Poverty, by America," by Pulitzer Prize winner Matthew Desmond. This book asks why there is so much poverty in the most prosperous nation in the world and how we might build a more just society. Copies are free to all UMD community members and are now available!

Students, head to the info desk at Stamp Student Union for yours. Faculty and staff can pick one up outside the Undergraduate Studies Dean's office at 2110 Marie Mount Hall. Let's start a conversation on campus.
