Ever wondered what's in the University Libraries vault? Delve into University Libraries archival objects and collections that tell the tale of how historical collections inform current issues and civil rights. Led by faculty and staff from the Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives, this first event in the new "Treasures of the Vault" series will share unique and valuable materials related to the University of Maryland's Studying Slavery 1856 Project, voting rights, as well as a new exhibit exploring the evolution of racial representation in commercial radio broadcasts.
