Difficult Dialogues and Hot Topics in the Classroom

Lively discussions can energize a course, and it’s important to set the stage for success. Come to this session to learn how to manage “hot topic” classroom conversations. This session will be useful for instructors who are planning to include sensitive course content, acknowledge to current events, and/or respond to unplanned student comments. Please note: we are adapting this interactive online workshop to focus more explicitly around talking about race in the classroom.
