Decolonizing Your Dialogue

  • to
  • Event Location Online

This workshop builds on the previous webinar from the Difficult Dialogues National Resource Center, Princeton University's Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Clarkson University, "Decolonizing Academe," featuring Coates and Quaye’s decolonizing frameworks. Ball, Dwyer, Maxwell, and Rodriguez provide examples of how they have put these frameworks into practice in dialogue settings to create more socially just dialogues and address specific ways to re-center traditionally marginalized voices, challenge longstanding models of power and privilege, center socio-political structures, and bridge awareness with student-initiated action.
