The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected women's labor force participation, with disproportionate consequences for women of color and low-wage earners. Some industries with predominantly female workforces were forced to close, while other women had to step out of the workplace to undertake new caregiving opportunities.
Join the Societal Experts Action Network on June 24 to learn about how COVID-19 has impacted women’s work experiences and what solutions can address these challenges. Drawing from the evidence from social, behavioral, and economic sciences, this webinar will explore efforts to mitigate challenges and create opportunities for women in the workforce. Hosted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
