Join the next #UMDSolidarity anti-racism teach-in from the Office of Diversity & Inclusion. This event will highlight the history of medical racism in the U.S., as well as how racism influences health disparities and help-seeking. We will also discuss how mass communication might influence race-related perceptions of health care and health disparities and provide some education on the development of the COVID-19 vaccine.
