Beliefs About Referring LGB Clients: Exploring (Un)Ethical Clinical Practices

This webinar from the School of Public Health's Prevention Research Center will focus on one of the prominent ethical issues related to working with LGB clients that is at the forefront of social, political and professional discourses: the referral of LGB clients based solely on their sexual orientation. This practice of refusing clinical services to LGB clients will be explored from three perspectives: the views of therapists, the views of faculty members tasked with training the next generation of therapists, and the view of religious leaders.
